Can I perform Umrah without a mahram if I am travelling with a group?

Assalaamualaikum Allah Taalah,in his complete wisdom has made traveling the safar distance with a Mahram mandatory for a Muslim woman. Traveling without such even for a Nafl ibaadah such as Umrah is not permissible. One should not give up hope. By abiding to the commands of Allah he will grant one much more reward then what would be gained in going to the Kabah in hia disobedience. Rememver the one who obeys the Rabb of the Kabah from afar is better then the one who disobeys him in the Haram Answered by Mufti Zaheer Mangerah
