When do the UAE summer holidays start in 2027?

The 2026-27 academic year ends on Friday 2 July 2027, and the summer break runs through to the end of August. Sharjah schools and some curricula publish slightly different dates, so confirm against your own school calendar before booking flights.
Where should we travel from Dubai in July and August?

Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand are the strongest long-haul choices: they are in their green season, the showers are short and heavy rather than all day, and hotel rates sit well below their winter peak. For a shorter trip, Turkey, Georgia and Kazakhstan are four hours away and comfortable at this time of year. Northern Europe is the best of the European options in August.
Is July and August rainy season in South East Asia?

It is the green season rather than a washout. Rain usually arrives as a short afternoon downpour, the rest of the day stays usable, and the trade-off is lower hotel rates and thinner crowds than in the winter months. Coastal areas differ from inland ones, so we match the itinerary to the specific region you are travelling in.
Are your summer packages suitable for families with children?

Yes. We adjust room configuration, transfer vehicles, daily pace and meal times for families, and we can add private guides so the itinerary moves at your speed. Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and Thailand work particularly well with younger children.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and the Caucasus have halal food widely available and we choose hotels accordingly. In Thailand, Sri Lanka and Europe we plan halal restaurants into the itinerary in advance rather than leaving it to chance.

Packages are land-only — hotels, transfers and the sightseeing listed on the itinerary — so you can use the airline and fare class you prefer, or your own points. Where a group departure includes flights, it is labelled a fixed departure and appears on that page.
How far ahead should we book for July and August?

Four to six months. Summer is the longest school break of the year, and the combination of UAE, UK and European school holidays means July and August hotel inventory in the same destinations is under pressure. Booking by April secures both the rooms and the room configuration you want.
